Part 3.1: Sleeping Giants

The Avengers have taken up residence inside a dormant Celestial. The X-Men have colonized Mars. And the Eternals have a new leader eager to make his mark. These significant actions have put three of the Marvel Universe’s greatest superpowers on a collision course with each other, setting off a rapid chain of events that threaten to end all life on Earth within 24 hours.

Part 3.2: Rush to Judgement

The ancient Celestial known as the Progenitor has awakened, and it has determined that every being on Earth must face judgement. If the majority prove to be unworthy, then life on the planet will cease to exist. While Avengers, X-Men, and Eternals struggle to form a loose alliance, the Celestial pays a visit to some of Earth’s most prominent heroes. Will they pass or fail their judgement? The results may surprise you.

Continuity Note: The majority of X-Force #33 takes place here, but the ending mildly spoils the conclusion of the main event so you may want to return to it later.

Part 3.4: Post-Judgement Brooding

While not a direct follow-up to Judgement Day, the X-Men and Avengers—namely Captain Marvel—barely have a moment to recover when they come face-to-face with one of their deadliest (and ugliest) enemies: the Brood! Witness as their paths cross in two different but related storylines, Revenge of the Brood and Lord of the Brood. As if that wasn’t enough, the New Mutants experience yet another harrowing journey into the realm of Limbo, an adventure that may just tie in to our very next Spidey-themed event.
